Roulette Strategy Simulator

Same spins. Different stakes. Compare flat betting, Martingale, Fibonacci, D’Alembert, Labouchere and Paroli on red. See how stakes, turnover and stopping points change. Virtual units only: no wagers, deposits or prizes.

This simulator needs JavaScript. Read the system guides linked below for worked examples.

Labouchere only: 1–20 positive whole numbers, each up to 1,000, separated by commas. Stakes multiply this list by the base unit. One list per session; no restart after completion.

All systems use the same spin sequence.

Compare hundreds of sessions

A single sample can hide large losses. Run fresh sessions using the bankroll, stake, maximum, wheel, requested spins and seed above. Choose Reproducible sample first. Each session starts over; within it, all six systems receive the same spins.

Choose a session count and run a batch.

How to read these results

The mean is the average profit or loss. The median is the middle result; the 10th and 90th percentiles show the lower and upper parts of this sample, using the nearest-rank method. They are not confidence limits or bounds on future losses.

Bankroll blocked means the full next stake was unaffordable, not necessarily that the balance reached zero. Table blocked means it exceeded the maximum. A session can count in both columns. Labouchere list completion is reported separately, including completion on the final requested spin; it is not a blocked session. Blocked early counts each affected session once and excludes runs that reached the requested spin count.

The distribution includes every session, including early stops. Exactly −50% belongs to “Lost up to 50%”; exactly +50% belongs to “Gained up to 50%.” These are sample frequencies, not promised odds. Rounded percentages may not total exactly 100%.

Each session uses a different deterministic seed derived from the starting seed. Repeat the same settings to reproduce the batch. The mean cost benchmark is the house edge multiplied by mean turnover; a finite sample need not match it. Session gains do not carry into the next session, and Labouchere stops at list completion. Other systems use no profit target; all use the starting bankroll and table maximum as limits.

How the simulator works

  • Flat betting: the base stake on every spin.
  • Martingale: double after a loss; return to the base stake after a win.
  • Fibonacci: start at the first 1 in 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8; move forward one position after a loss and back two after a win, never before the first position. There is no additional profit-reset rule.
  • D’Alembert: add one base unit after a loss and subtract one after a win, with a minimum stake of one base unit.
  • Labouchere: stake the sum of the first and last list entries times the base unit, or the single remaining entry once. A win removes both endpoints; a loss appends the number of base units staked. Stop when the list is empty, with no automatic restart. Completing a list gains its original sum times the base unit; completion is never guaranteed.
  • Paroli: stake 1, 2, then 4 base units after consecutive wins; reset after any loss or the third consecutive win.

Each system bets on red, starting with the same bankroll. It stops before a required stake exceeds its remaining balance or the table maximum. No reduced bets, top-ups or restarts are allowed. The others continue on the original sequence. A bet equal to the available balance or maximum is allowed.

Random mode uses a seeded pseudorandom generator with equally weighted pockets and independent-spin assumptions. The same seed and wheel reproduce the same sequence. Changing the wheel changes how the sample maps to pockets. The worked-example presets contain deliberately selected outcomes and are not random samples. They use black 2 for a loss and red 1 for a win. D’Alembert uses four outcomes; Labouchere uses five; Paroli uses three. The older Martingale and Fibonacci presets use ten. The ledger state column shows the Labouchere list, Paroli win count or D’Alembert stake in base units before the bet; for Fibonacci it shows the sequence position.

Only standard 1:1 red bets are included. Zero loses the full stake; American double zero is shown as 00. La Partage, En Prison, multipliers, fees and bonuses are excluded. Inputs use whole virtual units. Changing settings does not change displayed results until you press Compare systems; New random sample selects random mode and runs it immediately.

What results can and cannot tell you

Turnover is the sum of stakes actually placed. Largest stake excludes the blocked next bet. Profit/loss is final balance minus starting bankroll. The cost benchmark is turnover divided by 37 for European roulette or 19 for American roulette. It shows the house-edge cost for that amount wagered, not a prediction conditional on a particular spin path.

For adaptive staking, expected net result across repeated sessions is minus the house edge times expected total turnover. A progression can produce frequent small wins and less frequent large losses. Compare amounts, not just how often a system finishes ahead. Neither a seed nor past results can predict a casino wheel.
