Based on the licensing information we could check, yes: Maria Casino is a regulated brand rather than an unlicensed one. The operator’s own footer says mariacasino.com is run by Rol Malta ltd, Level 6, The Centre, Tigne Point, Sliema, and licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority under licence MGA/B2C/1031/2023, issued on 26 January 2024 and valid until 25 January 2034. We could not reach the MGA’s public register to cross-check this, so you can confirm it with the regulator.
Two caveats matter. First, a licence is specific to a domain and a market, so the Malta licence does not mean every country is covered. Second, we could not retrieve the operator’s full terms for every market, so we could not confirm every term, payment option or game. Legit does not mean suitable for everyone: read the terms for your country before depositing.
Who runs it and where it is licensed
Maria Casino has operated under the Kindred Group, which was acquired by FDJ. Trade press reports that the acquisition completed at the end of 2024. FDJ United’s first-half 2026 results release does not name Maria Casino or any other casino brand, so we cannot confirm the brand’s current ownership structure from that document.
Each market has its own operating company. The Malta row comes from the operator’s footer. The Sweden and Denmark rows come from a secondary source, GamblingMaps, and we could not check them on the regulators’ registers.

Estonia: GamblingMaps lists a separate Estonian licence for mariacasino.ee, held by Lexbyte Digital Limited. The same source reports that mariacasino.com is listed by Estonia’s regulator as not authorised in Estonia. GamblingMaps stresses that this is not a finding of fraud and that licensing is domain-specific. We have not checked it against the Estonian register.
UK: Maria Casino closed to UK players on 7 May 2019, according to CasinoBeats, as Kindred focused on Unibet and 32Red. The domain mariacasino.co.uk now permanently redirects to 32Red. Some third-party review pages still mention Gibraltar or UK Gambling Commission licences and UK contact details, but those claims conflict with the closure and we have not used them.
In 2019, Norway’s regulator ruled that Kindred had to stop serving Norwegian customers through brands including Maria Casino, and payment-blocking orders were also issued. The ban was upheld on appeal, as Casino News Daily reported in May 2020. We have not verified whether those measures apply to the current brand.

Maria Casino’s sites have been organised into casino, live casino, bingo, poker and tournament sections. We could not verify the current game count or studio line-up on the operator’s own pages, so we are not listing providers here. Availability differs by country, so check the lobby after registering.

A secondary review, Casino.org, names Evolution as the live casino supplier, although its own pros and cons on live games contradict each other. That offer applies to Swedish players, says nothing about roulette contribution or maximum bet, and may have changed. Maria Casino appears to be a properly licensed brand: the international site is operated by Rol Malta ltd under an MGA licence valid to January 2034. It is not available in the UK.
